Hampton Inn Review – Mixed Experience The location was very convenient, and our room was clean, which we appreciated. However, several issues made our stay less than ideal. The bathroom lacked sufficient counter space, which made getting ready a bit inconvenient. We were also disappointed by the staff’s attitude regarding our service dog. Initially, they were a bit rude, and the hotel policy includes a $100 fee per occurrence if the dog isn’t with you—even though pets aren't allowed in the breakfast area. Eventually, they allowed us to crate the dog while we ate, but it wasn’t a smooth interaction. There was also a horrendous sewer-like smell near the exit and pool area, which was hard to ignore. Our TV didn’t work properly, and the door to our room didn’t close securely without a firm shove. This hotel has potential due to its cleanliness and location, but it fell short in service, maintenance, and accessibility for service animal users.

This is where I stay for the last 5 years as I access MDAnderon. It is always friendly and clean with spacious rooms. This last time I stayed in the suite , which was lovely, . There is a shuttle to take one to various hospitals in the medical zone hourly .

Excellent staff and security. As a veteran of the hotel business, I am well impressed. Housekeeping is kind and on the ball. Superior job all around.

This hotel is located super close to MD Anderson medical complex. They treat us amazing at this hotel! They have a shuttle with Chris and Brenda who are always driving from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. they are tireless and dedicated! We love them! This hotel has made us feel so special at a time when we needed help the most. The parking is gated and very safe. Also directly next door to the luby's cafeteria which also is excellent and so fast! Close to lots of other restaurants Target etc. The rooms are neat and clean with a mini fridge and a microwave. Great pool when it is in season.

Stayed here for an evening while visiting family in town. Very clean, quiet hotel. The AC was crisp and cold, hot water delivered after a long day out (clean bathrooms too), linens were nice and clean, and breakfast was with great variety and service! Would recommend and stay again!

This hotel is close to the medical center and provides shuttle service back and forth. I arrived early and a room was ready for me. We were even given a choice of locations. The staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee and tea were in the lobby and there was a nice pantry of items for purchase. The free breakfast was better than many I've had. The room was clean, comfortable and nice looking.

Room was clean; bathroom was remodeled since last visit. Complimentary breakfast aired daily from good to very good. Complimentary shuttle service was excellent, with frequent runs to the medical center complex, a little over a mile away. My only complaint was an inadequate selection of working TV channels. The need to improve the selection and guide system, or change providers who offer a better selection of channels, including premium channels.

It is an older hotel and definitely needs to be updated and remodeled The hotel was clean but with this hotel being listed as accommodating to local medical facilities it should have a higher level of cleanliness Excpecially since a large majority of people staying are immunocompromised. For example the carpet is old and stained an definitely needs to be replaced. Paint is pealing in the shower ceilings The staff are great and very accommodating The breakfast was very good and fresh.
